Biography




Teddy Elliot is a talented musician, producer, and composer with 20 years of experience in his field. Skilled on several instruments - including guitar, bass, keyboard, and voice, Teddy can create beautiful soundscapes to suit a wide range of musical styles and moods.

Working alongside filmmakers at 815 studios, Teddy has been refining his skills as a composer and producer. Creating instrumental pieces to accompany promotional videos, Teddy’s music sets the tone for each clip, and elevates the desired emotion using sound.

Since age 13 Teddy has been writing original pop songs and recording them. He released his first album (working with producers at university) in 2009 and has released four full length albums of original songs since then, and is soon to be releasing a fifth entitled Seedlings In My Mind. His lyrics deal with personal subjects such as relationships, mental illness / ADHD, and his experience navigating the world as a transgender man. You might describe his genre as pop-rock, singer-songwriter, or indie-pop. He takes influence from artists such as: Sara Barrielles, The Killers, Coldplay, Jon Bellion, John Mayer, AJR, Sia, and many more.

In 2021 Teddy joined forces with brothers Krzysztof and Piotr Zielinski to form a new alt rock band - Acidland. On lead vocal and bass, Teddy brings his unique voice to the band, combining his pop sensibilities with the rock music of his youth. The group play a mix of 00s Alt rock covers, and original songs and are in the process of recording their debut EP. Acidland are seeking new opportunities to play their music live in and around Rugby and coventry.

As a youngster, Teddy was very involved in music at school - playing regularly in a band on guitar and backing vocals. The group played a variety of pubs and venues around Lincolnshire. At age 18 he studied Popular Music Studies at Leeds Conservatoire (originally Leeds college of music) and attained a 2:1 grade, specialising in music composition. Teddy also has his grade 8 in guitar (rockschool curriculum) and is qualified to teach guitar.
